Comments | Invocation to the Earth is a work commissioned by the Fundació Orfeó Català - Palau de la Música within the framework of the Barcelona Creació Sonora. The composer has chosen a poem by William Wordsworth that deals with the purification of the earth from all its evils and misfortunes through a rite performed by a spirit from beyond. The work is written in 24 voices and is conceived as a great melody that weaves the work from beginning to end, intertwined with a texture of varying complexity that musically illustrates what the text expresses. ___________________ Scores | Influx Sheet Music (Edició en PDF).
